About Our Founder...
P360 Performance Sports was founded in 2002 by Chris Snopek in Flowood MS. Born and raised in Cynthiana KY, Chris was drafted in the 11th by the Texas Rangers out of high school, in 1989 opting to play for the Ole Miss Rebels instead. He was drafted again in the 6th round by the Chicago White Sox in 1992 and began his professional career. Chris's MLB debut was on July 31, 1995 against the Kansas City Royals at 3rd base, batting 2-3 with an RBI and a stolen base. He spent 4 years in the majors with the White Sox before being traded to the Boston Red Sox, where he spent his final year in the majors. Chris played a total of 10 years in professional baseball.
Performance Sports Academy was started in Flowood after Chris retired. It was a baseball training facility with a roster of 4 trainers that accumulatively provided over 600 baseball lessons per month. The company moved to Ridgeland in 2012 and changed the name to P360 Performance Sports. In 2015, the current location was acquired off County Line Road, and serves as the home of the SBG Sox Youth and High School Programs, providing lessons with highly qualified instructors among other training programs.
About the P360 Performance Sports Growth Plan...
With the continued growth of SBG Sox Baseball, in 2017 Chris Snopek partnered with Avery Johnson, a former client and Belhaven player from Brandon, and Ravenwood Financial Services Corp, a small investment bank and equity investor. Using the Jackson model, a growth plan was created to expand the footprint of P360 and its SBG Sox programs. The program is facility driven to provide professional training for players while adding talented management to continue to improve the products and player experience

2019: Hattiesburg - two academies purchased and combined into one - Matt Miller & Drew Mattison joined the management team.
2020: Reservoir - purchased 27 acres for future development
2020: Auburn - purchased A Perfect Game Academy - Mark Fuller joined the management team.
2021: Pearl - added new location at the Outlets of Mississippi
2022: Gulf Coast - added new location/local partner to construct new facility - Sean Steverson joined the management team.
2022: Birmingham - merged with CABA USA with locations in Hoover & Sylacauga - Joe Yarbrough & Kennon McArthur joined the management team.
2023: Birmingham - purchased academy and fitness center in Pelham - Lisa Hall joined the management team.

About SBG Sox Baseball...
SBG Sox Baseball began in 1997 with two 7U teams. The teams were immediately competitive and grew as a team over the next couple of years. The core of the top team continued together for several years as more teams were formed in different age groups. At 13U, that original team won a PG National Championship. They won another PG National Championship at 14U...and was National Runner Up at 15U. During their Championship run they were consistently ranked in the top 5 nationally.
In 2015 there were 13 SBG Sox teams, with another champion in the Grand Slam World Series by a 12U team.
In 2020 the the SBG Sox High School Showcase Program was created with an emphasis on providing showcase opportunities for Mississippi high school players. Recruiting a coaching staff that is qualified and works hard to help players find their college opportunity, the program has expanded to Alabama and consists of 33 teams, with almost 200 players signing to play in college in conferences across the country.....including the SEC, Big XII, Ivy League, ACC and more.
In 2023, 50 SBG Sox Youth teams and 33 SBG Sox HS Showcase teams competed in Mississippi and Alabama. For the 2024 season that begins in September, 66 youth baseball teams will begin the season.
About Southeast Collegiate League..
The Southeast Collegiate League was formed in 2020, as a summer program for players that were impacted as a result of league shutdowns during COVID-19. It started with 4 teams based in Mississippi. In 2021, the league was expanded to south Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee. In 2022 it expanded to Alabama. In 2023, the league expects 24+ teams to be formed, providing competitive baseball for college players that have NCAA eligibility.
