At P360 Performance Sports, we have Professional Instructors with College and/or Professional experience--sharing their personal baseball knowledge and improving each player's skill set in the following ways:
Teaching proper fundamentals while advancing pitch command/selection and increasing velocity.
Teaching proper fundamentals, developing how to handle the bat, loading properly, staying though baseballs at contact, and increasing power.
Teaching proper fundamentals, the ability to use backhand/forehand, clean exchange, and players using their feet to be in a better position to throw.
Scott Copeland was born and raised in White Oak, Texas. He played collegiate baseball at Panola College and Southern Miss. Scott was selected in the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles in the 21st Round. Scott made his MLB debut in 2015 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and he went on to pitch for the New York Mets in 2018. Scott primarily focuses on developing pitchers.
Brian Wagner is originally from Lodi, California. He spent his college career at Sacramento City College and Southern Miss, and he was drafted on 2 separate occasions (Cleveland '94 and Cleveland '95). Brian has been giving private lessons since 1999, and he has coached various levels since 2006, primarily focusing on Hitting.
Chris Bedenbaugh is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He has 13 years of experience coaching 13/14u teams, and he has also coached at Hattiesburg High School for 4 years. Chris mainly helps develop players' Hitting, Defense, and Pitching at P360-Hattiesburg.
Toddric Johnson is from Jackson, Mississippi. In college, he played at Meridian CC and Southern Miss, where he was named a preseason All-Conference USA selection by Baseball America in 2006. Toddric was drafted 3 separate times (Marlins '03, Padres '04, A's '06) and played 5 seasons in the Oakland Athletics Organization. Toddric gives lessons in all areas of the game.
Jeff Farris is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He has 34 years of coaching experience, including 8 years at Presbyterian Christian High School and several seasons at Petal High School. In his time not spent on a baseball field, Jeff invented Tunnel Vision Sports Training Glasses. He has been teaching Hitting for 30 years with an emphasis on the fundamentals and a Hitter's mental approach and confidence.
Kaley Fruge is from Stuttgart, Arkansas, where she made the All-State softball team 4 times at Stuttgart High School. Kaley is going into her Redshirt Junior season on the Southern Miss Softball team after a shortened 2020 season. Primarily playing outfield for USM, she hit .400 in 2019. Kaley focuses on giving Hitting instruction, and she leads various Group Workouts at P360 Hattiesburg.
Bailie Springfield graduated from East Webster High School where she was a part of 3 consecutive State Championship teams ('13, '14, '15). After high school, she moved on to Delta State University and Itawamba Community College, then she continued her career at Southern Miss. Bailie coaches Hattiesburg SSG Softball teams, and she primarily gives pitching lessons.
Tyler Dobson is from Petal, Mississippi. He played at Holmes Community College for one season before injuries ended his career. Tyler is currently in his 2nd year as Pitching Coach at Lamar Christian High School. In addition to High School, Tyler has also coached 2 years of youth baseball. He gives fielding, pitching, and hitting lessons at P360 Hattiesburg.
Donnie Bridges was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was drafted in the 1st Round (23rd overall) of the 1997 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos as a Pitcher. He played 10 years in the Expos Organization before he began his coaching career. Donnie has been coaching for over 6 years and has been giving pitching lessons for 15 years.
Mary Grace Turner
Mary Grace Turner is from Leaksville, Mississippi. She played college softball at Pearl River Community College, and she currently holds the school record for career homers with 18. Mary Grace is currently a catcher at William Carey in her senior season. Mary Grace leads multiple camps and hitting groups at P360 Hattiesburg and gives hitting and catching lessons.
Blake Tuten is originally from Florence, Mississippi. His coaching experience includes 5 years at the High School Level and 5 years coaching travel baseball. Blake has been giving lessons for over 5 years, and he works with players on their hitting, pitching, and defense.
Ryan Blackburn is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi and graduated from Oak Grove High School. After Oak Grove, he continued his college career at MS Gulf Coast Community College as a pitcher and an infielder. Coach Blackburn has been coaching Youth baseball for over 4 years, and he has been giving both Pitching and Hitting lessons for 2 years.
Sarah Van Schaik
Sarah Van Schaik is from Petal, Mississippi and graduated from Petal High School. After high school, Sarah played her freshman and sophomore seasons (2016 & 2017) at Ole Miss. In 2017, Sarah was a member of the SEC Tournament Championship Ole Miss team that advanced to the Los Angeles Super Regional hosted by UCLA. Sarah then played her junior and senior seasons at Southern Miss. With experience at multiple positions in college (catcher / infield), Sarah gives Hitting and Fielding lessons at P360 Hattiesburg.
