At P360 Performance Sports, we have Professional Instructors with College and/or Professional experience--sharing their personal baseball knowledge and improving each player's skill set in the following ways:
Teaching proper fundamentals while advancing pitch command/selection and increasing velocity.
Teaching proper fundamentals, developing how to handle the bat, loading properly, staying though baseballs at contact, and increasing power.
Teaching proper fundamentals, the ability to use backhand/forehand, clean exchange, and players using their feet to be in a better position to throw.
Tina Deese is originally from Huntington Beach, California. A former college softball player at Florida State University, she has 32 years of experience as a Head Softball Coach. She started the softball program at Auburn University in 1997, and she remained Head Coach there for 17 years. Tina also led Huntington College as their Head Coach for 8 years. 2021 will be her 7th year as a High School Head Coach, and she gives instruction in all areas of the game.
Joey "Rock" Jordan
Joey Jordan comes to Auburn from Roanoke, Alabama. He played Junior College baseball at Southern Union State CC before continued his career at Jacksonville State University and the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he was voted as team captain his senior year. Joey's coaching resume includes a position as Assistant Coach at Callaway (GA) High School and Head Coach of the West Monroe Sox. Joey has given lessons for 3 years, working with Hitters and Infielders.
Mark Fuller was a 4-year letterman in baseball at Auburn University. After college, he played professionally for the New York Mets and the Colorado Rockies organizations. Then, Mark went on to serve as Pitching Coach for North Carolina State University and later Auburn University. Mark has been the Owner/Director of The Sports Academy (now P360) in the Auburn Opelika area for 16 years.
Rawlins Cleveland was born and raised in Albany, Georgia. In High School, he played in 2 State Championships, and he won it all in 2018. After High School, Rawlins played football at Auburn University before an injury forced him to hang up the football cleats. Then, Rawlins played college baseball at Tallahassee CC, where he started 2 years at catcher. Rawlins is Head Coach of the Hitmen Fall Travel Team, and he instructs Hitters, Catchers, and Pitchers.
Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Tanner Jones won a State Championship in 2018 as a 2nd baseman for Auburn High School. Tanner then took his talents to Coastal Alabama CC. He has experience in all areas of the game, and he even umpires in Auburn in his spare time. Tanner primarily works with Infielders and Hitters.
Danny Cooper has 26 years of experience coaching softball with an emphasis on pitching. He has helped countless players reach their goal of playing college softball, including his daughter. Danny teaches pitching lessons daily at the P360-Auburn facility, and he serves as Pitching Director for Tina Deese in the Alabama Sox Program.
Marshall Whittington's hometown is Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned All-State Honors in High School as a catcher, and he went on to catch for 2 years at Chattahoochee Valley CC in Phenix City, Alabama. Marshall was Head Coach of the 16U Academy Raiders in the Summer of 2020, and he led the team to a 19-4 record. Marshall has been giving lessons for 2 years, and he primarily works with Hitters and Catchers
Maddie Porter graduated from Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham, Alabama in 2015. Then, she went on to become a 3-year starter at Troy University where she was an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and earned a spot on the Sunbelt Conference Commissioner's List. Maddie was the Volunteer Assistant at Troy for the 2020 season, and she is currently enrolled in the Exercise Science graduate program with a focus in Biomechanics. Maddie gives lessons in all areas of the game.
Kyler Deese is originally from Auburn, Alabama. He was a member of the 2010 State Championship team at Auburn High School. Kyler then played 4 seasons at Auburn University as both a pitcher and a hitter. After Auburn, he became a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Alabama. His coaching experience also includes the 16u Academy Raiders and 2 seasons in the Excel Organization. Kyler gives lessons in hitting and defense.
Sidney is currently in her senior year at Lee-Scott Academy in Auburn, Alabama. She is signed to play college softball at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, as a catcher. Sidney's career accolades include being named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State Softball Team in 2017 and 2018. Sidney gives hitting and catching lessons.
