Rich Sorensen

Rich brings 40 years of baseball experience both as a player and a coach to P360. He played his high school ball in Southern California where he pitched his team to the CIF Championship game at Angels Stadium. He then went on to play his college ball at Orange Coast Junior College and then received scholarship to play at Fresno State for the legendary Bob Bennett. Both seasons resulted in over 50 wins in both seasons and trips to the Western Regionals.

After his college days, Rich then started his coaching career at Fresno City college as assistant pitching coach where he coached former professional players Bill Simas and Ted Lilly. After 10 years there, Rich moved to the Sacramento area to be the pitching coach and recruiter for NAIA William Jessup University. After 3 years there, Rich got the opportunity to be the Head Baseball coach at Porterville Junior College in Central California.

Three years ago, Rich moved to Biloxi, MS with his wife Tracy. Rich has 3 grown children, loves to travel, heavily involved in community work, and presently the Head Baseball Coach for a homeschool baseball program here on the Gulf Coast.
