Mississippi Collegiate League Announced

P360 Performance Sports is proud to add the Mississippi Collegiate League to our line up this summer. The league will feature graduating high school seniors and college players from around Mississippi and surrounding states, organized with teams in both Jackson and Hattiesburg markets. The League Commissioner is Cory Hough - who recently joined our management team from the University of Cincinnati, where he attended, graduated and earned his Master's Degree while managing the schools various sports venues. While Jackson and Hattiesburg has launched, he is also working on other markets throughout the state to add more teams to showcase for all colleges in the south to attend. The league will be formatted for teams to play 3 games per week, including two 7 inning games and one 9 inning game. The games will be played at venues throughout the local markets as venues become available. A six week league will lead to seeding all teams to compete in a playoff for the 7th week to crown a league champion.

P360 Performance Sports operates training facilities in Jackson, Hattiesburg and Flowood with some of the top baseball training staff in the state. The nationally recognized Sox Baseball program powers the facilities, with 32 youth teams age 8-14 taking the field this Spring. Also home of the SBG Sox High School Showcase Program, taking the field this Summer with 10 teams comprised of high school players playing in tournaments and showcases for college recruiters and professional scouts.

New for 2020 is the Sox Softball Program, with youth and showcase teams formed to compete this Spring and Summer. Under the direction of Haley Sones, teams will be based in both Hattiesburg and Jackson - look for tryouts in May as more teams are formed to learn the game the Sox way.
