P360 Fall Wood Bat League 16th Season Coming in September

Updated: Aug 25, 2021

For 15 years Jackson Metro high school baseball players have competed in the annual rite of passage...the Fall Wood Bat League. Team rosters include players from all over, banding together for a spot in the Championship Game. 2021 just got better.

Teams in Jackson are almost sold out for six teams with almost a month before opening day - and the waitlist brings the possibility of 8 teams playing this season. In Hattiesburg, the inaugural season headed by Coach Larry Knight is filling quickly as decisions are being made to add more teams to meet the demand. Games will be played at USM, Pearl River CC and Jones College.

The first season in Hattiesburg is not the only thing new this season. Champions will be crowned in both cities...and those champions will meet at Trustmark Park in Pearl for the first P360 Fall Wood Bat League State Championship. Scheduled for a Sunday afternoon in September with some of the best baseball players in the state promises a great day of baseball for fans of the game.

Players will showcase their skills at the home of the Mississippi Braves, with the game scouted by Prep Baseball Report MS and college scouts. Every baseball fan in central Mississippi should mark this game as a Must-See as the Fall Season starts coming to a close.

Rosters for all teams will be released soon. Stay tuned to P360 Performance Sports website and follow on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
