Shelby Pendley Joins P360 Softball Staff

P360 Performance Sports announced today the addition of one of the top Softball instructors in the state.


Shelby Pendley has joined the SSG Softball staff and will provide professional instruction for hitting, pitching and fielding. Originally from Rio Rancho NM, Pendley was named the Athlete of the Year as a senior at Rio Rancho High School. In 2012 she played at Arizona before transferring to the University of Oklahoma in the Big 12. In 2013 Pendley was named Big 12 Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-American. She followed that up in 2014 as First Team All-American selection, and matched that in 2015 where she was again named the Big 12 Player of the Year and First Team All-American. As a collegiate player Pendley finished her career with a .384 batting average including 84 homeruns. As a pitcher, she had a career mark of 14-2 and a 2.24 ERA. In 103.1 innings pitch, Pendley recorded 98 strikeouts.


She was the 2nd overall draft pick in the 2015 NPF College Player Draft by the USSSA Pride. Entering her 7th season in 2021, she was the 2015 NPF Rookie of the Year. The NPF Homerun Champion in 2017, Hendley was named the Championship World Series MVP in 2018, as the Pride won it all.


Pendley was an Assistant Coach at the University of New Mexico in 2015-2016, and was named an Assistant Coach at Jackson State University in 2021. She has provided professional, private instruction since 2017 and will begin providing instruction at P360 in March, specializing in Hitting and Fielding Instruction.
