Sox 14U Program Ranking High in USSSA
As April comes to an end, four Sox teams in the 14U division rank in the top 10 in the USSSA State Power Rankings for the state of Mississippi.

Leading the way, 14U Prime coached by Chris Snopek and Chad Lipscomb rank #1 in the Major division with a record of 17-1 and another championship after winning the Super NIT in Monroe. The 14U Elite team coached by Gerard Gibert and Avery Johnson come in at #2 in the AAA division, dropping from the top spot after seeing their 9 game winning streak come to an end with a loss in Tennessee in the championship game last weekend. The Sox 14U Select team coached by Alex Gunn is ranked #9 in the AA division, and 14U Premier coached by Ryan Creek rounds out the top 10, coming in at #10 in the division. In the AA division, Sox 14U Power is ranked #15 and 14U Diamond comes in at #18.
With 81 players, Sox baseball fields 7 teams in 14U, playing in several sanctioned events including USSSA, Grand Slam, GSSA, 2D and Off the Chain events. All Sox teams will be in action this upcoming weekend as they compete with some of the best teams in the state in the Prep Baseball Report Showcase tournament played at high schools throughout the Jackson area.
