At P360 Performance Sports, we have Professional Instructors with College and/or Professional  experience--sharing their personal baseball knowledge and improving each player's skill set in the following ways: 

​

  • PITCHING:

    • Teaching proper fundamentals while advancing pitch command/selection and  increasing velocity.

  • HITTING:

    • Teaching proper fundamentals, developing how to handle the bat, loading properly, staying though baseballs at contact, and increasing power.

  • FIELDING:

    • Teaching proper fundamentals, the ability to use backhand/forehand, clean exchange, and players using their feet to be in a better position to throw.

Instructors

Mark Fuller

Mark Fuller was a 4-year letterman in baseball at Auburn University.  After college, he played professionally for the New York Mets and the Colorado Rockies organizations.  Then, Mark went on to serve as Pitching Coach for North Carolina State University and later Auburn University.  Mark has been the Owner/Director of The Sports Academy (now P360) in the Auburn Opelika area for 16 years.

Carson Kennamer

Carson graduated from Madison Academy in 2019.  After graduating he signed to play football and baseball at Faulkner University.  After playing at Faulkner, Carson transferred to Auburn University where he is working towards a bachelor's degree in public relations.  Carson gives lessons in all areas of the game.

Patrick Castillo

Patrick Castillo is from Chelsea, AL.  He played 4 years of high school baseball at Chelsea High School and one year of college baseball.  After his playing days, he has been coaching ages 14U-16U for 3 years with CABA in Birmingham, Alabama.  Patrick has also been giving lessons for 2 years, primarily working with players on their hitting and fielding.

Tanner Jones

Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Tanner Jones won a State Championship in 2018 as a 2nd baseman for Auburn High School.  Tanner then took his talents to Coastal Alabama CC.  He has experience in all areas of the game, and he even umpires in Auburn in his spare time. Tanner primarily works with Infielders and Hitters.

Marshall Whittington

Marshall Whittington's hometown is Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He earned All-State Honors in High School as a catcher, and he went on to catch for 2 years at Chattahoochee Valley CC in Phenix City, Alabama.  Marshall has led his teams 29-16 record in his Head Coaching career.  Marshall has been giving lessons for 2 years, and he primarily works with Hitters and Catchers

Cassie Jones

Born and raised in Selma, Alabama, Cassie played for Dallas County High School and was the 4A Player of the Year in 2011, when Dallas County won the state championship. In college, she was a two-time NFCA First Team All-American Pitcher, two-time National Champion, and two-time NAIA World Series MVP for Auburn University at Montgomery.  She now lives in Opelika with her husband and three dogs, and in her free time she enjoys showing in competitions with her dogs.  Cassie gives lessons in all aspects of the game, and serves on the SSG Sox Auburn Coaching Staff.

Alexis Sydnor

Alexis played at Wallace Community College, and led the team to an Alabama Community College conference southern Division championship her sophomore season.  She was named to the First Team ACCC All-Region and All-South Division teams both her freshman and sophomore years.  She continued her career at Alabama State University, being named the SWAC Newcomer of the Year in 2019 and to the Preseason All-SWAC First Team in 2020.  Alexis gives lessons in all areas of the game, and she serves on the SSG Sox Auburn Coaching Staff.

Liv Lessman

Liv Lessman is originally from the St. Louis-metro area, where she was selected to the Missouri All Star team twice.  She then continued her career at the University of Dayton.  Liv racked up 18 strikeouts in 32 relief appearances at Dayton, and she was named President of Athletes in Action at the university during the 2021-2022 school year.  Liv gives lessons in all areas of the game at P360 Auburn.

Danny Cooper

Danny Cooper has 26 years of experience coaching softball with an emphasis on pitching.  He has helped countless players reach their goal of playing college softball, including his daughter.  Danny teaches pitching lessons daily at the P360-Auburn facility, and he serves as Pitching Director for Tina Deese in the Alabama Sox Program.
