Welcome to Sox Baseball
We received your acceptance of our invitation to play Sox Baseball !
On behalf of the entire organization and Baseball staff - to our returning players...welcome back. To our new players...welcome aboard!
The staff is working on rosters now, and will continue to do so over the next several days as we work to build competitive rosters for all age groups. In the meantime you will receive emails from us with information about the program, any changes or additions to our staff, and answer any questions that you may have as we move to the next season. In August, we will have an organizational meeting in both Hattiesburg and Jackson where we bring all players and their families to introduce you to the entire Sox organization. Coaches will be there to meet with their teams as well and everyone will meet their new teammates. The location for the meeting will be the Bottling Company, located in the downtown area.
The Player Agreement will be sent before the Team Meetings, which will include all information related to Sox Baseball. We can tell you that the Membership Agreement for the 2020-2021 season will be $2,330, which is for 12 months. This is due at the Team Meetings. It can also be financed over the term with a $350 deposit and 12 monthly payments of $165 per month. The fee includes your coach, indoor and outdoor practice space, participation in Daily Classes for hitting, fielding, pitching and catching that are held Monday - Thursday (players can attend as many as they want). Players can also take private, one-on-one instruction from any of our professionals at member rates. Players have access to hitting cages and pitching mounds as available to use on their own as part of their membership.
We understand that playing youth sports is expensive, and we work hard to keep the prices down while providing quality instruction and coaching with facilities and outdoor practice locations. Nonetheless, we never let money be the reason a player doesn't join our organization. The Chicago White Sox provide scholarship funds to help offset the cost for those that want to play but otherwise could not fit the cost into their budget. The process is simple and unobtrusive for anyone that may need a little assistance. To make a request, just send an email to with a request for information.
We thank you for accepting the invitation from the Sox Baseball Staff. You have shown commitment to the game, and we are committed to you.
Once players have accepted, we do not continue to fill the roster spot we have for you. To maintain your commitment, we ask that you provide a $100 roster spot hold - this allows us to work with confidence that the committed players are in - and is used to go towards your Player Agreement down payment. The deposit is non-refundable except for circumstances such as injuries or you move out of the area, or if for any reason a team did not make.
To place your ROSTER SPOT DEPOSIT please click on the LOCATION BUTTON ABOVE - this is determined by where you tried out.
Once again, welcome back or welcome aboard! We strive to provide all the information you need as we provide a platform to reach every player and find their full potential in this great sport, whatever that may be.
So Sox players....shirts tucked in, hat and belt straight, shoes clean...always know that when you put on the Sox jersey - someone is always watching you!
